The Centre for Technology Innovation & Commercialisation (CTIC) was established to serve as a platform to facilitate technology transfer at NYP which includes:
- IP protection and management
- licensing and commercialisation support
- training and development in innovation and enterprise
We have many technologies available for licensing, namely in the domains of Biotechnology, Computers & IT, Engineering and Nano-technology.

Nanostructured highly-sensitiveity multiplexed chemcial detector
Based on nanostructured metal oxide arrays, this technology allows for highly sensitive detection of airborne chemicals. The technology allows for multiplexed detection of chemicals down to the parts per billion levels with high sensitivity (up to 6 orders of magnitude change). It is a platform technology which addresses process and materials compatibility issues in integrating nanostructured materials into devices for chemical detection.
